I like ducks. There are too many bobble-head dolls in the world; I figure the maximum number should be around twenty-three. There is no governor anywhere. Fnord. Napalm jokes are not as amusing as some people think they are. Never eat anything bigger than your head. Remain calm. Kinky Friedman is a very funny fella. Good music can be painful. All the Terra-Cotta Pigs in the World Won't Make it Right

Sometimes you just hear things and you wish you hadn't. This morning, it was a comment one woman made to another as they passed me in the hallway:


"All the terra-cotta pigs in the world won't make it right."


You could write whole stories around that statement. You could invent a religion with that as the centerpiece.

But I think I need it as my personal motto.
